The Wisconsin football program has gotten off to a strong start in the 2025 recruiting class, currently holding four commitments. As it stands, the Badgers have the No. 15 class in the nation, per 247Sports.

UW got some good news on Monday, as four-star offensive lineman Owen Strebig announced his top 11, and the Badgers are in the mix.

According to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite, Strebig is the No. 124 player in the nation, the No. 12 OT, and the No. 1 player in the state of Wisconsin.

Strebig is among the most coveted offensive linemen in the nation, and he’s drawing interest from all over the map. The Catholic Memorial standout currently holds 22 offers, but his choices going forward will include Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, Florida State, USC, Missouri, Florida, Notre Dame, Miami, and UCF.

Strebig took a visit to Madison during Wisconsin’s season opener against Buffalo. He also made other in-season stops at Notre Dame and USC.

UW may be a bit more picky in which offensive linemen they’ll take in this cycle after bringing in five prospects in 2024, but Strebig is a take, no matter how you shake it. The Badgers will have plenty of work to do to reel in the top-125 prospect, considering the heavy hitters included in Strebig’s top-11. Either way, this recruitment will be one to closely monitor going forward.

As it stands, the Wisconsin football program holds commitments from QB Landyn Locke, DB Remington Moss, OL Michael Roeske, and LB Cooper Catalano in the 2025 recruiting cycle.
