The Wisconsin football team kicked off their 2025 recruiting class with the addition of quarterback Landyn Locke in June. Now, they have added a second member of the class. Defensive back Remington Moss, out of Fredericksburg, Virginia, committed to the Badgers today. He made his announcement via Twitter.

With his commitment, Remington is now the second Moss family member to play for the Badgers. His late cousin Brent Moss was a running back for the Wisconsin football team from 1991-1994. He was the 1993 Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year and helped lead the Badgers to a Rose Bowl victory over UCLA.

Moss recently completed an unofficial visit with the Wisconsin football program and, by all accounts, had a great time.

Wisconsin Football Lands Ideal Cornerback Prospect in Remington Moss

Wisconsin football has aggressively tried to revamp the secondary since the coaching change. They are trying to get taller defensive backs, and Moss is that type of player.

According to 247Sports, Remington Moss is a 6-2 and 175-pound cornerback. He is currently an unranked prospect, but that will change eventually.

However, if there is any indication of the quality of player Moss, you can look at his offer list. He currently has 27 offers. The teams that have offered him include Notre Dame, Penn State, Ole Miss, Michigan State, South Carolina, Tennessee, and more.

Even though 247Sports has him as a cornerback, he could play either corner or safety for the Badgers when he gets to Madison.

Moss is now the second Wisconsin football commit in the 2025 recruiting cycle — joining quarterback Landyn Locke.
