Wisconsin Basketball Extends Offer to 4-Star Wing Amari Allen
Amari Allen, a Wisconsin native and top-100 recruit, has received an offer from the Badgers.
Greg Gard and the Wisconsin basketball team have two players committed as a part of their 2025 recruiting class; 4-star guard Zach Kinziger (No. 128 nationally) and 3-star center Will Garlock (No. 161 nationally). Both Kinziger (De Pere) and Garlock (Middleton) are in-state players.
Right now, that pair makes up the No. 7 recruiting class in the country, according to the 247Sports recruiting rankings.
But Gard is looking to add another player to the 2025 Wisconsin basketball class after making an offer to 6-7 wing, Amari Allen from IMG Academy in Florida.

According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Allen is a 4-star small forward ranked 100th nationally in the 2025 class. He is the 18th small forward and 12th overall player in Florida.
Joe Tipton from On3.com shared just a few days ago that Allen would be taking an official visit to Madison this fall. He will also be visiting Minnesota and Central Florida.
If you follow Wisconsin high school basketball closely, Allen’s name might sound a little familiar. Allen is a Wisconsin native. Before transferring to IMG Academy, Allen played in Kaukauna, Wisconsin.
The Wisconsin basketball offer is the 25th for Allen. He also holds offers from notable programs like Tennessee, Arizona State, Auburn, Creighton, Indiana, Iowa, Marquette, and more.
The Badgers have a connection with IMG Academy, pulling both D’Mitrik Trice and Aleem Ford from the program as the only members of their 2016 class.
If Allen were to commit to the Badgers, his pledge would push Wisconsin to No. 3 in the country as the rankings currently stand.
A potential addition of Allen would certainly round out a solid class for Gard and the Wisconsin basketball program.
