The 6-foot-four inch 240-pound prospect has received scholarship offers from many schools. To date, Davis-Swain has received 25 scholarship offers, including offers from 20 Power Five schools. Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan State, and Nebraska were the Big Ten schools that did not make Davis-Swain’s top 11.

Davis-Swain was previously committed to Notre Dame. He committed to the Fighting Irish in April of 2022 but backed off of that commitment in December. According to 247Sports, Davis-Swain visited several schools during the 2022 season even while committed to Notre Dame.

Davis-Swain is a four-star recruit according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. In the 2024 class, he is the 91st overall rated recruit nationally, the 12th highest-rated defensive line prospect, and the fourth-highest rated player from Michigan.

Wisconsin football: state of the 2024 recruiting class

Wisconsin football currently has three commitments in its 2024 recruiting class. Four-star quarterback Mabrey Mettauer headlines the class. After the Badgers held a pair of junior day events, two tight ends committed to Wisconsin’s 2024 class: Grant Stec and Rob Booker.

Stec, a four-star recruit from Illinois, is the highest-rated tight-end prospect to ever commit to Wisconsin. Booker, a three-star recruit and Waunakee native, chose to stay close to home when committing to Wisconsin. He is the fifth highest-rated player from Wisconsin in the 2024 recruiting class.
