BREAKING: Jamel Howard Commits to Wisconsin Football
Jamel Howard Is The Cherry On Top Of Wisconsin’s 2023 Class
Jamel Howard is back in Wisconsin’s 2023 recruiting class. After initially committing to the Badgers, he re-opened his recruitment after the firing of Paul Chryst. The three-star defensive tackle then took visits to Illinois, Michigan, LSU, Ole Miss, and Miami. Today, he signed his national letter of intent to play at Wisconsin.
The 6-foot-3-inch, 320-pound lineman visited Madison after athletic director Chris McIntosh hired head coach Luke Fickell back in December.

Jamel Howard Is A Disruptive Presence On The Defensive Line
Hailing from Chicago, the 15th-ranked player from Illinois appeals to powerhouse schools because of his size and disruptive presence on the interior of the defensive line. Howard has the potential to replace some of the defensive production at Wisconsin lost by Keanu Benton’s departure for the NFL.
In his senior year, Howard racked up 53 tackles, eight tackles for loss, three sacks, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. He joins Wisconsin’s recruiting class of 15 scholarship prospects. With the commitment, the Badgers have the 12th-ranked class in the Big Ten.
