Commitment to Wisconsin Football

Jones has been committed to the Wisconsin football team since July 14, 2023. Coincidentally, Braelon Allen committed to the Badgers on July 14, 2020. Just saying.

Jones held over 30 Division 1 offers and committed to the Badgers over teams like Maryland, Penn State, Florida State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oregon, and more.

The Badgers will be losing Allen to the NFL Draft and there are still questions about whether Chez Mellusi will return for one more year with the Badgers. If not, Jones will have a chance to compete for some early playing time in Madison.

According to the BadgerNotes scouting report, Jones will provide some physicality to the running back room for the Wisconsin football team. He looks to initiate contact with defenders and doesn’t go down easily. Jones does well running between the tackles and uses his vision well to hit holes.
