Wisconsin Football Among Final Choices for 4-Star Recruiting Target
The Badgers are in the final four for a big offensive line target.
The Wisconsin football program is among the top choices for a high-profile offensive lineman in the 2025 recruiting cycle.
Four-star interior lineman Avery Gach took to social media to announce his final four schools, listing the Badgers alongside Michigan, Ohio State, and Michigan State.
Top 4! Thank you to all the schools that recruited me. These are the schools I’m focusing on. pic.twitter.com/AaCXaUGkkC

According to the composite rankings, Gach is the No. 240 player in the nation, the No. 16 interior offensive lineman, and the No. 2 player in Michigan.
Gach stopped by Wisconsin on a game-day visit last season during the Badgers’ overtime win over Nebraska, his first visit to Madison. He has yet to lock in an official visit with the Badgers, but that should be coming down the pipe now that UW is among the list of finalists.
During his junior year at Wylie E. Groves High School, Gach registered 90 pancake blocks in ten games while allowing zero sacks or QB pressures.
After taking five offensive linemen in the 2024 cycle, Wisconsin has the opportunity to be more selective of their OL targets this time around. Wisconsin football currently holds an offensive line commitment from in-state standout Michael Roeske and is also currently after other targets, including Jack Lange, Darrin Strey, and Rowan Byrne.
It’s worth noting that Michigan is the heavy Crystal Ball favorite to land the four-star prospect, so UW and offensive line coach AJ Blazek will need to stay after other top targets.
The Wisconsin football program currently holds eight commitments in the 2025 cycle, coming in at the No. 20 recruiting class in the country.
