The Wisconsin football program has gotten off to a strong start in the 2025 recruiting cycle. As it stands, the Badgers hold four commitments, good for the No. 15 class in the country.

Wisconsin has yet to pick up a commitment at tight end in the cycle. However, UW is among the top choices for Marshall Pritchett, who announced his top ten schools on Friday.

According to the industry-generated composite rankings, Pritchett is the No. 259 player in the nation, the No. 13 tight end, and the No. 31 player in Georgia.

Pritchett has garnered 20 total offers, but his revised list will include Wisconsin, Michigan, Florida State, Miami, North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Auburn, South Carolina, Miami, and Virginia Tech. Some other notable schools that missed the cut include Cincinnati, Texas A&M, Michigan State, West Virginia, and Duke, among others.

Pritchett was a quarterback in his early high school days, but he made the switch to a flex TE/WR. In his junior season, the Rabun Gap High School standout self-reported 46 receptions for 674 yards and six touchdowns. In 2022, Pritchett recorded 52 receptions for 900 yards and nine touchdowns.

The Badgers will have true freshmen Grant Stec and Rob Booker coming in for 2024, alongside returning tight ends Riley Nowakowski and Tucker Ashcraft. With a lot of unproven talent at the position, tight end may be something that the Wisconsin football staff will evaluate closely in the 2025 cycle.

As it stands, Wisconsin holds commitments from Landyn Locke, Remington Moss, Michael Roeske, and Cooper Catalano in the 2025 recruiting cycle.
