Following a devastating 24-10 loss to the Northwestern Wildcats on Saturday, Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin Badgers football program ended the weekend with a massive recruiting win.

Three-star offensive tackle Michael Roeske announced his commitment to the University of Wisconsin on Sunday via Twitter. The Wautoma, Wisconsin native also held major offers from Notre Dame, Michigan, Kansas, Minnesota, Indiana, Syracuse, and Illinois.

Roeske is a huge addition to the Badgers’ 2025 recruiting class, and will play a large role in Fickell’s plans going forward.

Per 247 Sports, Roeske is nationally the 34th-best OT in his class, fourth-best in Wisconsin, and is ranked as an 88-overall recruit. He joins quarterback Landyn Locke and safety Remington Moss as the third commit of Wisconsin’s 2025 recruiting class. The 6’7″, 260 lbs. tackle may have just sparked a memorable 2025 recruiting class at the offensive line position, as the Badgers hope that four-star Owen Strebig and three-star Tre Poteat will follow suit.

Roeske was present for the Wisconsin football team’s October 28th clash against the Ohio State Buckeyes and visited Michigan to watch the Wolverines face the Purdue Boilermakers a week later — both games under the lights. His commitment to Wisconsin comes only eight days after his trip to Ann Arbor.

This is a big win, Badgers fans.
