The Wisconsin Badgers football program is gearing up for a big junior day, with several high priorities in the 2025 cycle set to make their way down to Madison.

Wisconsin added two tight ends in the 2024 recruiting class, signing Grant Stec and earning a late flip from Waunakee native Rob Booker. UW has dished out some offers to some of the nation’s top tight ends the current cycle, and one of them will make his way down to Madison this weekend.

Four-star tight end Marshall Pritchett took to social media to announce that he would be in Madison on Sunday for a visit.

According to the industry-generated composite rankings, Pritchett is the No. 298 player in the nation, the No. 15 tight end, and the No. 35 player in Georgia.

The 6-foot-5, 211-pound tight end has amassed 27 total offers, but he trimmed down his list to ten at the end of December. Wisconsin made the cut alongside Michigan, Florida State, Miami, North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Auburn, South Carolina, and Virginia Tech.

Last season, the Rabun Gap-Nacoochee High School standout self-reported 46 receptions for 674 yards and eight touchdowns. In his sophomore campaign, Pritchett logged 52 receptions for 900 yards and nine touchdowns.

Pritchett has a busy weekend ahead, with a trip to Georgia Tech on Friday and the University of Georgia on Saturday before making his way to Madison on Sunday. Wisconsin will have 2025 QB commit Landyn Locke on campus for the junior day visits, which may help the Badgers’ case in their pursuit of Pritchett.

Junior days have been very successful for Wisconsin as of late, as the Badgers have picked up commitments from three-star ATH Cody Haddad, four-star DB Jaimier Scott, and three-star LB Brenden Anes. With loads of standout prospects in the 2025 class set to make the trip to UW, it will be interesting to see if the staff can lock any of these recruitments up.

As it stands, the Wisconsin football program holds seven commitments in the 2025 class, good for the No. 10 recruiting class in the country.
