Wisconsin football coaches made a notable move on the recruiting trail Friday, extending an offer to class of 2026 quarterback Tait Reynolds.

Reynolds, hailing from Queen Creek, Arizona, has already garnered attention from top programs across the nation, holding offers from 18 schools, including Miami, Tennessee, TCU, and Oregon.

At 6-foot-3 and 195 pounds, Reynolds is not only a promising QB recruit but also a standout two-sport athlete in football and baseball. Notably, Reynolds has already committed to play Division One baseball at Arizona State University, showcasing his versatility as an athlete.

Ranked as a three-star recruit by the composite, Reynolds is currently positioned as the No. 22 quarterback in his class, the second-ranked recruit from Arizona, and the 362nd overall player in the class of 2026.

Wisconsin football offensive coordinator Phil Longo is acting as the lead recruiter for Reynolds and is only the fifth signal caller the Badgers have offered in the 2026 recruiting cycle.

Known as a dual-threat quarterback, Reynolds completed 54% of his pass attempts for 1,808 yards, 11 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions in 11 appearances for Queen Creek High School as a sophomore. Additionally, he tallied 631 yards and 17 touchdowns on the ground.

As it stands, Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin football program have not yet received a verbal commitment for the 2026 recruiting class.
