The Wisconsin football program will host a three-star defensive lineman on an official visit in June.

Jay’Quan Stubbs, an Ohio native, took to social media to announce he has locked in an official with the Badgers.

Got official visit set up or Wisconsin I’m excited can’t wait to get down there June 14th till the 16th!” Stubbs wrote.

According to the composite rankings, Stubbs is the No. 560 player in the country, the No. 52 DL, and the No. 17 player in Ohio.

Stubbs’ recruitment has picked up since the turn of the new year. He’s currently up to 13 offers, with Purdue, Rutgers, Minnesota, Illinois, West Virginia, Kentucky, Marshall, Kent State, Akron, Toledo, Bowling Green, and Buffalo all extending offers.

Badgers defensive line coach EJ Whitlow has acted as the primary recruiter for Stubbs since extending an offer in March.

Stubbs will also be making official visits to Purdue and Minnesota in June.

The 6-foot-6, 249-pound defensive lineman is a multi-sport athlete at Cleveland Heights High School, competing in football, basketball, and track and field. He’s played football at the varsity level since his freshman year.

Stubbs’ highlight tape shows his ability to be a game wrecker in the backfield, with his quick jump off the ball and his strength to push opposing linemen out of his way. He moves very well for his size and has the athleticism to be a difference-maker in rushing the passer and being disruptive against the run.

UW has yet to add a defensive lineman in the cycle. Stubbs is among the top targets at the position for the Badgers, along with Drayden Pavey, Gordy Sulfsted, Kade Pietrzak, and Brad Fitzgibbon.

The Wisconsin football program currently holds ten commitments in the 2025 recruiting cycle, good for the No. 18 class in the nation per the composite rankings.
