The Wisconsin Badgers football program is coming off of a huge recruiting weekend, hosting junior days on both Saturday and Sunday.

UW was only able to bring in a handful of prospects for its first junior day in January due to weather, but the Badgers made up for it by welcoming loads of 2025 talent to campus this past weekend.

Here’s a roundup of some important storylines coming out of the big recruiting weekend.

Wisconsin Football Junior Days Had a Huge Guest List

Luke Fickell and company welcomed a long list of priority targets in the 2025 class on Saturday, including four-star RB Byron Louis, three-star WR Davion Chandler, in-state WR Cameron Russell, three-star DL Brad Fitzgibbon, and in-state three-star DL Torin Pettaway. UW also had some help from 2025 QB commit Landyn Locke, who made his second trip to Madison since his commitment in June.

On Sunday, Wisconsin had a star-studded list of prospects make their way to Madison. Four-star EDGE Austin Alexander, four-star WR Quannell X Farrakhan Jr, four-star TE Marshall Pritchett, and TE Reiman Zebert, four-star EDGE Jayden Woods, three-star safety Jussiah Williams-West, and ATH Jahmare Washington all came on Sunday to see what UW had in store.

Junior days have been successful for Wisconsin thus far, as they picked up commitments from Cody Haddad, Jaimier Scott, and Brenden Anes off of junior day visits. It will be interesting to see if this weekend moved the needle for some of Wisconsin’s high-priority prospects.

Wisconsin Football Dishes Out Offers During Junior Day

Prospects such as Austin Alexander, Quannell X Farrakhan Jr, and Marshall Pritchett held offers from Wisconsin heading into junior day, but some prospects picked theirs up over the weekend.

Torin Pettaway, a Middleton, Wisconsin native, announced on social media that he had received an offer from Wisconsin.

“It’s amazing. It’s every kid’s dream to have a chance to play for their hometown, so it’s truly a blessing to possibly have that opportunity to play there in the future,” Pettaway told BadgerNotes.com

Wisconsin also extended an offer to Jahmare Washington, marking his first Big Ten offer.

Washington also holds offers from Toledo, Akron, Western Michigan, Bowling Green, and Ball State, among others.

Reiman Zebert picked up an offer from UW as well during his second trip to campus after an unofficial visit in November. The 6-foot-6, 210-pound TE is ranked as the No. 32 TE in the class and the No. 6 player in Nebraska.

Zebert added Wisconsin to his list of offers alongside Nebraska, Miami, Arkansas, and Oklahoma State.

Wisconsin Picks Up Crystal Ball Prediction During Junior Day

Shortly after the Wisconsin Badgers staff extended an offer to Middleton DL Torin Pettaway, Crystal Ball predictions were cast by two recruiting insiders at 247Sports for UW to land his services.

According to the 247Sports rankings, Pettaway is the No. 58 DL in the 2025 class and the No. 7 player in Wisconsin.

The rising three-star in-state defensive lineman has started to see his recruitment pick up in recent weeks, earning offers from Minnesota, Nebraska, and USC.

It was a quick turnaround after the offer, and it seems the Wisconsin football program is trending towards a commitment from the Middleton High School standout.
