The Wisconsin football recruiting department has compiled an impressive visitor list for junior day this coming weekend, a list that will now include defensive end Brad Fitzgibbon from Chicago.

Fitzgibbon, the 6-foot-4, 245-pound three-star defensive lineman, will be on campus for the Wisconsin Badgers second round of junior day visits, he confirmed to Badgernotes.com

Current Wisconsin Badgers nose tackle Jamel Howard was a former high school teammate with Fitzgibbon at Marist and was a mentor to him.

To this point, Wisconsin football Director of Player Personnel Max Stienecker and defensive line coach Greg Scruggs have taken the lead on recruiting Brad Fitzgibbon.

According to 247Sports, Fitzgibbon is the No. 64 ranked defensive lineman in the 2025 recruiting class and the No. 25 player in Illinois.

“I love the energy the coaching staff brings and the dedication to developing their players in the program,” Fitzgibbon told Badgernotes.

As it stands, he holds scholarship offers from Kansas, Vanderbilt, Iowa State, Buffalo, Kansas State, Toledo, Miami (OH), and several others. It’s also worth noting that Fitzgibbon took a game-day visit to Madison in November when Wisconsin football took on Northwestern.

The Badgers will also have three-star in-state defensive lineman Torin Pettaway from Middleton this weekend. So, this will be a significant tone-setter for UW heading into the summer.

Right now, the Wisconsin Badgers football team holds seven commitments in the 2025 recruiting class and ranks No. 10 in the country, according to the industry-generated composite rankings.
