The Badgers have some big names coming to campus this weekend.

Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin Badgers staff will open their doors to a large number of recruiting targets they’d love to add to the football program this weekend for junior day visits.

Due to inclement weather, the Badgers could only get four targets onto campus in January. However, they closed out three of those recruitments, landing pledges from Jaimier Scott, Cody Haddad, and Brenden Anes.

UW will host two groups: one on Saturday and the other on Sunday.

Here is a look at some of the Wisconsin football recruiting targets that Badgernotes.com has been able to confirm will be in attendance.

Wisconsin Football Hosting Talented Junior Day Recruiting Guest List

On Saturday, the Wisconsin football coaches will welcome a pair of talented running backs in four-star Byron Louis from Florida, along with Chase Garnett from Texas—who doesn’t currently hold an offer.

Louis currently has a crystal ball prediction for him to land at Ohio State, but he listed the Wisconsin Badgers as a top 10 finalist. Garnett shared with Badgernotes.com that an offer would likely position Wisconsin at the top of his list.

They’ll also have a pair of pass-catchers coming in for visits. Newly offered three-star wideout Davion Chandler from Indiana announced on social media that he’ll attend junior day. Additionally, in-state wide receiver Cameron Russell holds a preferred walk-on offer from UW, will be on campus, and is someone this staff wants to close on.

We’re also aware of two defensive linemen that Greg Scruggs has been the leader recruiter on—visiting the Wisconsin football program in Brad Fitzgibbon from Illinois and Middleton defensive end Torin Pettaway

Don’t be shocked if the Badgers get in the mix at offer Pettaway, given the recent influx of Power 5 programs getting involved.

Wisconsin football quarterback commit Landy Locke also announced on X that he would be visiting Madison.

Wisconsin Badgers Sunday Recruiting Slate

As important as the Saturday grouping will be, the Wisconsin Badgers Sunday slate of visitors has some highly ranked targets among it.

With one outside linebacker spot up for grabs, Wisconsin is set to welcome four-star edge rushers Jayden Woods and Austin Alexander. These are arguably the two highest-pedigree recruits the Badgers have visiting on junior day, and both have game-wrecking potential.

Three-star safety Jussiah Williams-West from Dayton, Ohio, will also check out Madison and is someone Wisconsin is in a good spot with. It’s expected that UW will take one more safety in the 2025 recruiting class, and Cody Haddad and Jaimier Scott have already claimed two spots. Will the staff put on the full-court press to close this one out?

Wisconsin football quarterback Mabrey Mettauer will have a high school teammate of his in, four-star wideout Quanell Farrakhan, visiting. Of note, he has a crystal ball prediction to land at Penn State.

Lastly, four-star tight end Marshall Pritchett from Georgia took to social media to announce that he would visit Madison on Sunday.

This is a massive weekend for Wisconsin football on the recruiting trail—and there will undoubtedly be more visitors than I’ve been able to confirm. Hopefully, the Badgers coaching staff can keep things rolling and add to its growing number of 2025 commits.
