Wisconsin football opens fall camp on August 1st. Before that, first-year head coach Luke Fickell will appear at Big Ten Media Days. With the season rapidly approaching, media outlets are announcing their preseason poll results, bold predictions for the year, and all-conference teams.

Pro Football Focus released its preseason all-Big Ten teams this week. In 2022, linebacker Nick Herbig was the lone first-team all-conference selection by PFF from the Badgers. Defensive lineman Keeanu Benton, linebacker Maema Njongmeta, and safety John Torchio made the 2022 second team. PFF named running back Braelon Allen and wide receiver Chimere Dike on the third team.

With 2022 selections Njongmeta, Allen, and Dike returning for 2023, where did those Badgers fall on PFF’s preseason all-Big Ten team? What other members of the Wisconsin football team made the list? The answers may surprise you.
