Wisconsin Badgers Football 2023 Predictions: Statistical Leaders
Receiving Yards Leader
Wide Receiver Chimere Dike
The new additions to Wisconsin football’s wide receiver room take up much air in the conversation about the upcoming season. It makes it easy to forget that the Badgers return their leader in receiving yards, receptions, and receiving touchdowns.
Did I mention that the leader is all the same guy?
Enter Chimere Dike, a former four-star prospect, according to 247Sports, who could again be Wisconsin’s most productive pass catcher. With NFL upside, the Waukesha native could have a banner year. An all-around receiver, his development as a route runner will allow him to maintain his spot as the team’s yards leader. Dike is also the runner-up for projected leader in receptions and touchdowns.
Runner-Up: Wide Receiver Bryson Green
Although he did not participate in spring practice, WR Bryson Green has the pedigree to lead Wisconsin Badgers football in any receiving category. The Oklahoma State transfer’s 36 receptions and 584 yards in 2022 would have been second only to Dike on the Badgers last season.
