Wisconsin football has zeroed in on one of their top offensive line targets in the 2024 recruiting class, and from everything we’re hearing, it sounds like the Badgers are heading toward a commitment.
On June 9, Marcus Harrison, out of Hamburg, New York, will take an official visit to Madison and will be on commit watch from the second he steps onto campus.
“I would say Wisconsin is my number one,” Harrison previously told 247Sports. “I love their style of play. They run the ball, run the ball. That’s what I want to do.”
As it stands, the industry-generated On3 Composite rankings have Harrison as the No. 603 recruit in the 2024 class, the No. 39 offensive tackle, and the No. 4 prospect to hail from New York.
The 6-foot-8, 335-pound tackle from St. Francis High School currently holds offers from Georgia, Miami (FL), Pittsburgh, Michigan State, Georgia Tech, West Virginia, Rutgers, and Syracuse.
Additionally, it’s worth noting that Harrison has been to campus three times and doesn’t have any other official visits scheduled at this time. Offensive line coach Jack Bicknell has pushed his chips all in on the massive offensive tackle prospect.
Wisconsin Football 2024 Recruiting Class
Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin football program have the nation’s No. 21 recruiting class, currently holding eight commits from Grant Stec, Robert Booker, Mabrey Mettauer, Derek Jensen, Thomas Heiberger, Kahmir Prescott, Landon Gauthier, and Kyan Berry-Johnson.
The belief is that the Badgers will take up to four or more offensive linemen in the 2024 cycle, and Marcus Harrison, who holds a crystal ball prediction from 247Sports to join Wisconsin, could be next.
