The Wisconsin football program is getting prepped for a massive recruiting weekend as the Badgers take on No. 3 Ohio State

Several standout 2025 prospects are already set to attend. One newly offered player will seemingly make the trip to Madison this weekend, but this player has a connection to the program.

Wisconsin Football Offers Quannell X Farrakhan Jr.

Wisconsin football offered Quannell X Farrakhan Jr on Wednesday night. The 2025 four-star prospect took to social media to announce the offer.

According to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite, Farrakhan is the No. 218 player in the nation, the No. 26 WR, and the No. 33 player in Texas.

The four-star prospect hails from The Woodlands High School in Texas, which just so happens to be home to 2024 Badgers commit Mabrey Mettauer. Farrakhan has become somewhat of a favorite target for Mettauer, as the 6-foot, 170-pound receiver has tallied a whopping 17 scores, the most touchdowns in a season in The Woodlands history.

Farrakhan has garnered some significant attention early on in his recruitment. The four-star prospect currently holds 20 offers, with schools including Georgia, Florida State, Michigan, Nebraska, Michigan State, Penn State, and several others throwing their hats in the ring.

From the sounds of it, Farrakhan will get a look at Madison this weekend alongside Mabrey Mettauer. The 2024 commit took to social media to call on Badgers fans to do some campaigning for the standout receiver.

If Farrakhan makes the trip, this recruiting weekend just got even more interesting.

His recruitment is in the early stages, but this will still be one for Wisconsin Badgers fans to keep an eye on. Time will tell, but UW benefits from Mettauer’s connection to the four-star prospect, so that could keep the Badgers in the race.

As it stands, Wisconsin football holds commitments from Landyn Locke and Remington Moss in the 2025 recruiting cycle.
