Madison, Wis. – The Wisconsin football staff invited a talented 2024 quarterback to campus this past weekend to wrap up the month of June.
Milos Spasojevic, a 2024 un-ranked quarterback from Minnesota, visited campus last weekend for the first time. Spasojevic, the rising Senior quarterback, got his chance to meet with coach Luke FickellLuke Fickell and the Badgers staff during his visit. Currently, the quarterback only holds one major offer, but has received interest from Minnesota and Wisconsin as of late.
Wisconsin Badgers Looking To Potentially Add to QB Room
With Wisconsin already landing both Braedyn and Landyn Locke, Mabrey Mettauer, and Nick Evers, the quarterback room is rather full. However, the Badgers show no signs of stopping as multiple quarterback recruits have visited campus during the month of June. Spasojevic is the most recent quarterback to land in Madison, spending much of his trip with the offensive guru, Phil Longo.
Coming in at 6-foot-3-inches, 215-pounds, Spasojevic is a talented dual-threat quarterback that fits the new Badgers scheme. The Wisconsin football staff has been eager to retool each of their position groups in order to create a room full of hand-picked talent. Not only does Spasojevic fit the role physically, but his play style is very similar to many of the other quarterbacks the Wisconsin football team have brought in.
This past season, the quarterback played exceptionally well in the pocket and developed a better awareness for the field. Spasojevic also used his legs to extend plays and gain chunks of yards when given the chance. Despite not being ranked, the Wisconsin football staff is extremely interested in taking on the quarterback as a preferred walk-on for the 2024 class. Wisconsin is doing the same for 2023 recruit and state Player Of The Year, Wynn Stang.
Can Wisconsin Football Land Milos Spasojevic?
Wisconsin is currently looking to add another quarterback. Spasojevic could be the best option for the team given his size and current offers. The Badgers should not have to battle many teams. If Minnesota were to offer a similar option to the quarterback, it may be a different story. The Golden Gophers have a similar amount of quarterbacks rostered as well.
