Wisconsin Football Hosted 4-Star In-State OT Recruit on Visit
The Badgers hosted a four-star in-state lineman over the weekend.
Inclement weather wasn’t enough to keep four-star in-state offensive tackle Owen Strebig from visiting the Wisconsin Badgers football program on junior day over the weekend.
As Badgernotes.com initially reported, Strebig did, in fact, visit Madison this past weekend, which he confirmed in a post on social media.

The Badgers coaching staff was able to introduce their remaining top-of-the-board offensive line target to new position coach A.J. Blazek. Their developing relationship will be crucial to Wisconsin’s chances of keeping the Catholic Memorial product home.
According to the industry composite rankings, Strebig is the No. 124 player in the nation, the No. 12 OT, and the No. 1 player in Wisconsin.

The Wisconsin football program took five offensive linemen in the 2024 recruiting class, allowing the Badgers to be more picky in the 25 cycle.
It also helps that three-star offensive tackle Michael Roeske is already in the fold and can help serve as a recruiter for the fellow in-state target. Right now, Owen Strebig is considered by many to be a Notre Dame lean, but his visit over the weekend reportedly helped a great deal.

Strebig recently named UW one of the top 11 schools remaining in his recruiting process, alongside Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, Florida State, USC, Missouri, Florida, Notre Dame, Miami, and UCF.
There’s a long way to go in his recruitment, but keeping the 6-foot-8, 300-pound offensive tackle in Wisconsin is a big-time priority for the Badgers, and they’re in a good spot with him heading into the summer.
