Watch: Wisconsin WR Chimere Dike Makes Insane One-Handed Catch at Practice
Stop whatever you’re doing and watch Chimere Dike do his best OBJ impression at Wisconsin football fall camp.
The Wisconsin football program is undergoing a foreign transition on offense — one that almost suggests that we’re in an alternate reality.
For anyone who has lived under a rock these past eight months, I’m referring to Luke Fickell bringing Phil Longo in to install his patented air raid system in Madison.
“But don’t you need stud wide receivers to run the air raid?”
The Badgers have that, too, now. UW brought in USC transfer CJ Williams, Oklahoma State’s Bryson Green, and Cincinnati pass-catchers Will Pauling and Quincy Burroughs. Not to mention, Wisconsin brings back their top three wideouts from 2022: Chimere Dike, Sklyer Bell, and Keontez Lewis.
Wisconsin Football WR Chimere Dike Makes an INSANE Catch at Practice
Among the returning talents I mentioned, Chimere Dike is expected to be the WR1 for Wisconsin football this fall.
Dike is coming off an impressive junior season where he totaled 47 catches for 689 yards and six touchdowns (all came from the slot) in 13 games — all starts.
Those numbers were good enough to land him No. 8 in the Big Ten in receiving yards and No. 7 in touchdown catches. As a result, Dike was named Honorable Mention All-Big Ten by the media.
But enough about last season, because Wisconsin football will be throwing the ball all over the damn yard this year, and the Badgers media team gave us a live look into fall camp and the Odell Beckham Jr. style catch that Dike made at practice.
