Koy Beasley, a 2024 four-star safety, has an official visit with the Wisconsin Badgers set for June 15th. Beasley received a scholarship offer from the Badgers back in April, and has since been consistently in contact with the football staff. The talented defensive back currently has 20 scholarship offers and two other scheduled visits. Beasley will visit Pittsburgh before Wisconsin and then travel to Purdue following his Madison visit.
Wisconsin Football Eager To Land Koy Beasley
The exceptional athlete, Koy Beasley, plays on both sides of the ball for his football team as a safety and a receiver. Beasley is also a member of the basketball team, where he is an accomplished guard. Beasley currently has not made a visit to Madison yet, however, he has met with much of the Wisconsin staff already. The primary recruiters for the safety have been coach Luke Fickell and position coach Colin Hitschler. The talented defensive back made a visit to Cincinnati in March of last year.
Beasley has since made multiple visits to both Purdue and Pittsburgh without making it to Wisconsin just yet. The defensive back has not made any indications thus far in his recruitment about the rankings of his current offers. Beasley has not made his program interests known, however, his commitment date is set following his three official visits. At this time, it appears as though Wisconsin will battle against Purdue and Pittsburgh to land the recruit in the future.
Wisconsin Badgers Trapped In Three-Way Battle For Four-Star Recruit
The four-star recruit is currently ranked as the 17th safety in the class and the seventh player in Ohio. The 2024 recruit is also ranked as the 222 overall recruit nationally, according to 247 Sports. Coming in at 6-foot-1-inch, 180-pounds, the defensive back provides excellent field vision and play recognition. Beasley is a sure-tackler who rarely allows the offense to get past him. The talented player also dominates in coverage as he recorded five pass break-ups and one interception last season.
Wisconsin will have quite the battle ahead of them to land Beasley, given the array of options he has. However, the Badgers seem primed to land the recruit given his current relationship with the staff.
