The Wisconsin football program will have a newly offered defensive line recruit on campus for an official visit in June.

Kyler Garcia took to social media to announce he would be in Madison on June 14th.

Defensive line coach EJ Whitlow extended an offer to Garcia on Wednesday, and the three-star prospect wasted little time before setting an official visit.

According to the 247Sports rankings, Garcia is the No. 109 defensive lineman in the 2025 recruiting class and the No. 27 player in Tennessee.

Garcia currently holds 14 offers with notable schools, including Indiana, Purdue, Louisville, Liberty, Vanderbilt, Memphis, Toledo, Buffalo, and others, all extending scholarships.

In his junior season, the 6-foot-6, 266-pound defensive lineman recorded 52 tackles, 13 TFLs, four sacks, and a fumble recovery. On his highlight tape, Garcia shows the ability to jump off the line and cause havoc in the backfield when lining up at defensive end while having the quick hands and strength to push offensive linemen back and make a play when lined up on the interior.

Wisconsin has yet to add a defensive lineman in the 2025 recruiting cycle. After missing out on three-star defensive lineman Gordy Sulfsted to Notre Dame, UW has done some reshuffling of their priority targets. Some of the top remaining targets at the position include Drayden Pavey, Kade Pietrzak, and Jayquan Stubbs, among others.

Official visit season is just around the corner, and heading into an important recruiting stretch, the Wisconsin football program holds 11 commitments in the 2025 cycle, which ranks at No. 17 in the nation per the composite rankings.
