Wisconsin Football Reveals Braelon Allen’s Status vs. Indiana
Wisconsin football provides an injury update on Braelon Allen ahead of the Indiana game.
Luke Fickell and the University of Wisconsin football team have been preparing all week for the possibility of facing Indiana without star running back Braelon Allen — who suffered a lower-body injury just before halftime last week against No. 3 Ohio State.
Allen was later seen on the sidelines in a walking boot during the second half — effectively ending his game against the Buckeyes with a stat line of 10 carries for 50 yards with two fumbles.
In the recent health update of Wisconsin Badgers running back Braelon Allen, as provided by coach Fickell during his weekly radio appearance, it was revealed that Allen’s condition remained uncertain. Fickell conveyed, “I don’t know. He was out there [at practice] last night, but he couldn’t do much of anything.”
After a week full of uncertainty about Allen’s availability against the Hoosiers, we finally have our answer (kinda).
Wisconsin Football Has Ruled Braelon Allen Questionable vs. Indiana
According to the Wisconsin football team’s official injury report put out before the Indiana game — Braelon Allen has officially been labeled as questionable vs. the Hoosiers.
The Badgers will have to wait and see, but it’s likely they’ll rely on the duo of Jackson Acker and Cade Yacamelli, both of whom had played different positions a year ago and have limited in-game experience.
Wisconsin’s running back room against the Hoosiers could have only 47 total carries worth of experience if Allen is unable to go.
