The Wisconsin football program has gotten off to a strong start in the 2025 recruiting class. As it stands, the Badgers currently hold four commitments in the cycle and are well-positioned to land another commitment.

One of the most recent offers in the cycle was to offensive tackle Jack Lange, one of the nation’s top offensive linemen in the 2025 cycle.

According to the industry-generated composite rankings, Lange is a four-star prospect, ranked as the No. 187 player in the nation, the No. 17 OT, and the No. 2 player in Missouri.

New offensive line coach AJ Blazek, who was hired from Vanderbilt last week, has already started to make his mark on the recruiting trail by extending the offer to the 6-foot-8, 275-pound prospect. Blazek also offered Lange when he was coaching with the Commodores.

Lange has tallied 17 offers, with notable schools including Michigan, Notre Dame, Washington, Ole Miss, Missouri, Tennessee, Kansas State, Iowa, Illinois, and Michigan State throwing their hats in the ring.

The four-star prospect has already made several visits, with stops at Kansas, Ole Miss, Arkansas, and Michigan, among others, so the Badgers are jumping in a bit late here. However, it’s clear that Blazek has made it a priority to keep in touch with Lange even after his move to UW. It will be worth monitoring if the staff can get the Missouri native in on a visit of their own.

The Wisconsin football program currently holds one offensive line commit in the 2025 cycle, with in-state standout Michael Roeske verbally pledging to the Badgers. UW is also in the mix for four-star OT Owen Strebig out of Waukesha, Wisconsin.
