Wisconsin Football Offers 1,000-Yard Wide Receiver in Transfer Portal
The Wisconsin football program has offered James Madison standout WR Elijah Sarratt.
The Wisconsin football program is still looking for help at wide receiver even after the addition of former Michigan State WR Tyrell Henry. The Badgers are looking to replace Chimere Dike and Skyler Bell, who entered their names into the transfer portal in early December, and have dished out several offers in hopes of getting some extra bodies.
One of the most recent wide receiver offers was to James Madison transfer Elijah Sarratt, who announced the offer on social media.

Wisconsin Football Offers James Madison Transfer Elijah Sarratt
Since entering his name into the transfer portal on December 15th after his head coach Curt Cignetti was hired on as Indiana’s head coach, Sarratt has announced offers from South Carolina, Utah, Indiana, Purdue, and California. He remains open to the idea of returning to James Madison, but he’ll test the waters first.
The former James Madison receiver is coming off of a monster 2023 season, recording 82 receptions for 1,191 yards and eight touchdowns, averaging 14.5 yards per catch. With those marks, Sarratt received First-Team All-Sun Belt honors.
Prior to his time at JMU, Sarratt played one season with Saint Francis. In 2022, the Virginia native was named an FCS All-American and received First-Team All-NEC honors after logging 42 receptions for 700 yards and 13 touchdowns. His 13 scores tied the record for the most receiving touchdowns in a season in Saint Francis history.
Sarratt was unranked coming out of high school and did not receive any Division 1 offers, but he’s proven to be a serious weapon. The former FCS All-American would be a perfect fit for the Badgers offense and provide an immediate boost to the wide receiver room.
As it stands, the Wisconsin football program has added eight players through the transfer portal and has the No. 25 transfer class in the nation.
