When the 2024 All-American Bowl takes place on January 6th, the Wisconsin football program will have one of its most talented defensive commits on the field representing the Badgers.

247Sports composite four-star cornerback Omillio Agard — who committed to Wisconsin in July — will be the second defensive back in the last two seasons to represent the Badgers defense, the other being Jonas Duclona.

The 5-foot-10 cornerback accepted his All-American Bowl invite before committing to the University of Wisconsin — but will now get the chance to suit up with four-star offensive tackle Kevin Heywood — who is also a Badgers commit and fellow Pennslyvania native.

Wisconsin Football Will Be Well Represented at the All-American Bowl

Badgers head coach Luke Fickell has a strong track record of recruiting and developing defensive backs — and churning out NFL draft picks.

Now, with the Wisconsin football program, Fickell has an opportunity to bring in a higher-tier prospect to play in his defensive system that historically plays a lot of press-man coverage.

Freshman cornerback Jonas Duclona has gotten his feet wet with the Badgers this season — and there’s a good chance Omillio Agard could be in a position to push for a spot in the two-deep in 2024.

For any Badgers fans wanting to tune in and watch the pair of Wisconsin football commits play in the All-American Bowl, it’ll air live on NBC and Peacock from the Alamodome in San Antonio.
