Wisconsin Basketball to Host In-State Recruiting Target on Sunday

When Greg Gard and the No. 6 Wisconsin Badgers basketball team take on Purdue Sunday afternoon, they’ll have a top recruiting target in attendance. 

A source shared with Badgernotes.com that 2025 three-star center Will Garlock from Middleton, who holds an offer from the Badgers, will attend the Big Ten showdown at the Kohl Center against the Boilermakers. 

The 6-foot-10 big man is viewed as the No. 207 player in his class, the No. 34 center, and the No. 5 player in Wisconsin, per the industry-generated composite rankings. 

Wisconsin Basketball 2025 Target Will Garlock Attending Purdue Matchup

Greg Gard and the Wisconsin basketball coaching staff chose to get involved with in-state center Will Garlock shortly after their advanced camp and have zeroed in on him as a priority ever since.

Right now, Garlock holds scholarship offers from Iowa, Marquette, Penn State, Virginia Tech, and Wisconsin. That said, several other Power 5 programs have started getting involved.

Of note, Garlock currently has two crystal ball predictions to land with the Wisconsin Badgers, who have pursued him the hardest throughout his recruitment. Assistant coaches Dean Oliver, who has a son on Garlock’s team, and Joe Krabbenhoft have both been involved in this one.

Considering how Wisconsin basketball has scouted, recruited, and developed stretch big men over the past 20 years, the Badgers feel like a terrific fit for what Garlock has to offer.
