Wisconsin Basketball Bracketology Guide: March 1st
Wisconsin basketball is on the Bubble for the NCAA Tournament. Every game between now and Selection Sunday is paramount for the Badgers. Whether Wisconsin is playing in March Madness will depend on the results of Wisconsin’s games and the other teams around the Bubble.
It's critical to the #Badgers NCAA Tournament chances to win one of their remaining regular season matchups. If UW loses both, it would end up with 15 losses – unless it wins the B1G tournament
Only two 15-loss teams have ever made the NCAA tournament. '17 Vandy & '18 'Bama.

NCAA Tournament Bubble Watch
There are three teams on the NCAA Tournament bubble playing tonight. A loss by each team would help Wisconsin basketball get into the NCAA Tournament.
Auburn Tigers at Alabama Crimson Tide – 6:00 PM CST on ESPN2
Auburn is in all 110 bracket projections at Bracket Matrix. However, many predictors like Joe Lunardi have the Tigers as one of the last teams avoiding the First Four. A win tonight over the potential number one overall seed Alabama would likely secure Auburn’s spot in the NCAA Tournament. Auburn currently has only two Quadrant One wins according to the NCAA Evaluation Tool (NET) – Wisconsin’s resume boasts six Quad 1 victories. Alabama won the first matchup between these teams at Auburn 77-69.
Penn State Nittany Lions at Northwestern Wildcats – 8:00 PM on Big Ten Network
Penn State is just on the outside looking in at its spot in March Madness. A victory tonight over Northwestern could put the Nittany Lions in a position to slide into the NCAA Tournament picture. Northwestern, meanwhile, is looking to bounce back after losing back-to-back road games against Illinois and Maryland.
Utah State Aggies at UNLV Rebels – 10:00 PM on CBS Sports Network
Utah State has a slight chance left at an at-large berth in the NCAA Tournament. A loss tonight to UNLV would likely end that chance. The Aggies have yet to record a Quad 1 win this season. Utah State defeated UNLV earlier in the season in Utah 75-71.
