Where Does Wisconsin Men’s Basketball Land in Espn’s Latest Bracketology?

To say that Greg Gard and the University of Wisconsin men’s basketball team are on the bubble heading into their final regular season matchups would be the understatement of the year.

The Badgers (16-12, 8-10 Big Ten) currently sit at 11th in the conference standings following their overtime loss to Michigan in Ann Arbor—and are in legitimate danger of having to play on day one of the B1G tournament.

Wisconsin has two more opportunities to boost their resume before postseason play, the first coming against No. 5 Purdue on Thursday before the regular season finale on the road against Minnesota.

Where does Wisconsin men’s basketball land in Joe Lunardi’s latest ESPN bracketology update?

Despite what seemed like a crippling loss to the Michigan Wolverines, Joe Lunardi has Wisconsin men’s basketball as one of his last four teams in the field of 68–leaving little to no room for error.

As much as it breaks my heart, I regret to inform you the first-class program Juwan Howard is running in Michigan is listed as one of the first four OUT – along with Clemson, North Carolina, and Arizona State.

Time is running thin, and Wisconsin men’s basketball might need a miracle at home against the 5th-ranked Purdue Boilermakers if they’re going to go dancing for the 24th time in the last 25 seasons.
