Wisconsin Badgers Wrestling MAN OF THE MAT Award vs. Rider
Wisconsin Badgers Wrestling MAN OF THE MAT Award
The intent of this prestigious, almost Hodge-like, award is to highlight a wrestler from the Wisconsin Badgers Wrestling team that had the most outstanding performance from the event.
No. 17 Joseph Zargo is the winner of the MAN OF THE MAT vs. Rider for his upset-win over No. 12 Quinn Kinner.
I have said it and will continue to scream this from mountain tops. When Zargo is wrestling in the zone he is in now, he will be incredibly hard to beat. Zargo continues to wrestle his opponent very tough and he trying bring them pain. He is looking to give them some hurt in their lives.
To be clear, I said hurt. I did not say injure.
Zargo wrestles like he wants his opponents to feel his presence for the next week or so of training. The physical and mental dominance he is inflicting right now is impressive.
