Wisconsin Badgers Football: Intriguing Four-Star Completes Visit

Published

Madison, Wis.– With the spring season coming to an end, the Wisconsin Badgers football staff is fitting in as many visits as they can while the team is still in action.

One such visit occurred on Tuesday, April 18th when a certain 2024 four-star corner arrived in Madison. Terhyon Nichols, a 6-foot tall, 180 pound corner back from Cincinnati, Ohio got the chance to witness Wisconsin and meet the staff.

Nichols currently ranks as a four-star composite recruit, according to 247 Sports. The Ohio native ranks as the 13th overall recruit in the state and the 27th overall corner back in the 2024 class. Nichols has 29 Division I offers and counting as he begins another round of college visits.

One of the first major offers Nichols received came from Cincinnati and Luke Fickell. Nichols has been a player on the radar of coach Fickell since 2021, when he made his first Bearcats visit. Since then, Nichols has completed three visits to meet with Luke Fickell and his staff. The most recent visit to Wisconsin is the first time the recruit has stepped foot in Madison.

As a corner back, Nichols is quick and he rarely gives any space to his man. Nichols is aggressive and physical as well, with multiple highlights of him bullying opposing receivers off the line. It takes a physical, relentless receiver to get past Nichols and that talent will certainly transition over to the next level.

Given his size, Nichols still has room to fill out his frame and add muscle to an already strong base. The biggest adjustment for Nichols going to the next level will be his play recognition. Each level of play moves faster than the next, which could take some time to adjust to. However, the corner back certainly has the talent to build his weaknesses into strengths.

The 2024 recruit Terhyon Nichols seems to be interested in Kentucky, Ohio State, Cincinnati, and Wisconsin thus far. However the corner back does not have an offer from the Buckeyes yet, which may change things if it happens. The Wisconsin Badgers should continue to stay in the running for Nichols as his recruiting process progresses.

The Wisconsin Badgers football staff will be keeping a careful watch over Terhyon Nichols over the coming weeks.
