Madison, Wis. – The Wisconsin football program has scheduled an official visit with one of the standout OL prospects in the 2024 class.

According to Brian Dohn of 247Sports, four-star OL Liam Andrews will visit Wisconsin on June 9th. Andrews will join multiple three-star safety Cam Richardson, three-star CB Jay Harper, three-star RB Gideon Ituka, and others on a jam-packed recruiting weekend.

The top 100 prospect will visit Penn State before heading to Madison. Afterward, he’ll take an official visit to Florida.

According to the 247Sports Composite, Andrews is the No. 82 player in the nation, the No. 4 interior offensive lineman, and the No. 2 player in Massachusetts.

The 6-foot-5, 250-pound lineman recently released his top eight choices. Wisconsin made the cut alongside Penn State, Ohio State, Miami, LSU, Oklahoma, Florida, and South Carolina.

Scouting report

Andrews is a versatile lineman who has played on both sides of the ball. He spent most of his junior year playing left tackle, but with his size and strength, he filled in multiple spots on the defensive line.

The four-star prospect is a physical offensive lineman whose fast hands and pure strength jump off the screen. Andrews can effortlessly get his hands at pad level and forcefully drives his legs, making him a brick wall upfront.

On the defensive side, he’s explosive off the line and has remarkable closing speed. On top of that, Andrews has excellent technique in his block-shedding moves, specifically swim and rip moves.

Andrews will likely play on the offensive side at the collegiate level, but his versatility will be a gift to any program. You can watch his full HUDL highlights here.

The Wisconsin football program currently holds one offensive line commitment in the 2024 class in Derek Jensen. Luke Fickell and company would like to shore up the offensive line in this cycle, and if they can work some magic on Andrews, he’ll be one of the biggest highlights in the recruiting class.
