On Thursday, Luke Fickell and the University of Wisconsin football team welcomed another offensive lineman to their 2025 recruiting class.

Following an unofficial visit to Madison, three-star offensive tackle Cam Clark out of Dexter, Michigan, announced his verbal commitment to the Wisconsin Badgers over scholarship offers from Kentucky, Kansas, Minnesota, West Virginia, Cincinnati, and several others.

“First of all, I’d like to thank my parents for their love and support,” Clark wrote. “I would also like to thank my coaches and teammates. No one achieves anything on their own, and I’m very grateful to have had their guidance and support throughout this process.

“Thanks to all the coaches who recruited me throughout this process. That being said, I’m excited to announce my commitment to the University of Wisconsin!”

According to 247Sports, Clark is considered the nation’s No. 77 offensive tackle in his class and the No. 24 recruit in the state of Michigan.

Standing at 6-foot-7, 295 pounds, Clark gives the Wisconsin football team its second offensive tackle prospect in the class, joining three-star in-state product Michael Roekse from Wautoma. On tape, Clark shows impressive athleticism for the position and looks like someone who will fit nicely in Phil Longo’s up-tempo offensive system while remaining at tackle long-term.

For Wisconsin football offensive line coach AJ Blazek, Clark is now his first high school pickup as a lead recruiter for the Badgers. Of note, Blazek also played a vital role in the Badgers’ landing Vanderbilt offensive tackle Leyton Nelson

With Clark’s addition, the Wisconsin Badgers 2025 recruiting class now sits at nine verbal commitments heading into official visit season, joining Roeske, Cooper Catalano, Jaimier Scott, Brenden Anes, Remington Moss, Landyn Locke, Samuel Lateju, and Grant Dean
