Now that spring practice is over, the Wisconsin football coaching staff is getting active on the recruiting trail.

With official visit season just around the corner, the Badgers made a late move, extending a scholarship offer to Brayden Trimble, a three-star wide receiver from the 2025 class out of Mt. Zion, Illinois.

“After a great conversation with Coach [Kenny] Guiton, I am blessed to receive an offer from the University of Winsconsin,” Trimble wrote

According to the composite recruiting rankings, Trimble is the No. 607 player in the country, the No. 93 WR, and the No. 17 prospect in IL.

Wisconsin Football Targeting Brayden Trimble at WR

Trimble, who hails from Mt. Zion High School in Illinois, stands at 6-foot-2 and weighs 170 pounds. He has been on the Wisconsin football team’s radar for some time, leading to a recent visit from the Badgers’ tight ends coach, Nate Letton, before the scholarship offer was made.

The Illinois native has already attracted scholarship offers from a dozen schools, including notable programs such as Arkansas, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, and Northwestern. Following the offer from Wisconsin, Trimble promptly arranged an official recruiting visit to Madison for June 14th.

During his junior season, Trimble caught 69 passes for 981 receiving yards, chipping in 1365 all-purpose yards and 15 Total Touchdowns.

This scheduled visit will be Trimble’s second known official, as he also plans to check out Illinois—whom he already has a crystal ball prediction to end up with on 247Sports. With Wisconsin football actively pursuing multiple prospects for both slot and receiver roles for the 2025 class, Trimble’s upcoming visit could be pivotal.

As the official visit season heats up, Trimble stands out as a key receiver recruit to monitor for Wisconsin football, particularly if there are still available spots for wideouts by the time of his visit in mid-June. It’s worth noting that the Badgers are also in deep with receivers Kamren Flowers and Cameron Miler but don’t currently hold a verbal commitment.
