Wisconsin Football vs. Iowa: How to Watch + Score Predictions
Here’s how you can watch, stream, and listen to Saturday’s matchup between Wisconsin football and Iowa, plus some score predictions from our staff writers.
The Wisconsin football program and the Iowa Hawkeyes will square off Saturday afternoon in a matchup that could determine the Big Ten West winner. The Badgers are currently the only unbeaten team in the Big Ten West in conference play, while Iowa is just behind Wisconsin at second in the division.
UW is coming off of a win over the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. Wisconsin leaned on the ground game, with Braelon Allen and Jackson Acker combining for 166 yards on 34 total carries. Going into Saturday’s matchup, expect the Badgers to lean on the ground game once again. Iowa has a standout defense, but their run defense is prone to giving up big plays on the ground.
The Hawkeyes will have former Wisconsin QB Deacon Hill as their starter this weekend. Hill, who committed to UW in 2021, has appeared in two games since Cade McNamara’s season-ending injury. Iowa’s QB1 has shown that he is prone to making mistakes through the air, and Wisconsin’s secondary should be able to take advantage of that in the battle for the Heartland Trophy.
