Coming off a junior day visit with Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin football program, the Badgers coaching staff won’t have to wait long to learn their fate regarding four-star cornerback Jaimier Scott out of Cincinnati, Ohio.

The 6-foot-1 defensive back posted on social media that a commitment announcement was coming soon, alluding to his final four options coming down to Michigan, Penn State, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.

According to the composite recruiting rankings, Scott is the No. 328 player in the 2025 class, the No. 20 ATH, and the No. 12 player in Ohio.

Scott finished his junior season at Mt. Healthy High School with 53 tackles, two interceptions, and eight pass break-ups on defense while compiling 817 all-purpose yards on offense. He scored nine total touchdowns.

The Ohio native has good size, speed, and physicality that should fit in nicely as a boundary cornerback in the Wisconsin Badgers defense. Scott also has some positional versatility and is capable of playing safety.

Wisconsin Football a Favorite to Land 4-Star CB Jaimier Scott

Wisconsin football safeties coach Colin Hitschler has done a nice job in this recruitment, with their relationship dating back to his time working at Cincinnati. Luke Fickell and his staff also put in a lot of work during their junior day visits to make Jaimier Scott feel like a priority.

A source shared with BadgerNotes.com that the Badgers are in a great spot to land Scott in the 2025 recruiting class, with the top two schools believed to be Wisconsin and Tennessee.

Aside from his most recent trip to Madison for junior day, Scott has been on campus two other times for unofficial visits, once in April and also in November when the Badgers took down Nebraska.

We’ll have our answer soon, but Wisconsin football has a real chance to land the talented four-star cornerback from Ohio. Time will tell.
