It didn’t take long after joining the Wisconsin Badgers football coaching staff for A.J. Blazek to make his first big offer on the recruiting trail.

On Monday night, the Wisconsin Badgers’ new O-line coach offered a scholarship to 2025 offensive tackle Jack Lange out of Eureka, Missouri.

The composite recruiting rankings list the four-star prospect as the No. 187 recruit in the country, the No. 17 OT, and the No. 2 player in Missouri.

Lange holds scholarship offers from Arkansas, Illinois, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas State, Kentucky, Michigan, Michigan State, Missouri, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, and Washington.

Wisconsin Badgers Offer Blue-Chip OT Recruit Jack Lange

The Wisconsin Badgers football team isn’t too late to the party for four-star offensive tackle Jack Lange, thanks to a preexisting relationship from his time coaching the offensive line at Vanderbilt.

However, they’ll have some serious ground to make up. Lange has already taken unofficial visits to Nebraska, Notre Dame, Michigan, Kansas State, Iowa, Missouri, and Arkansas.

Right now, Wisconsin football has three-star offensive tackle Micahel Roeske as the lone offensive line commit in the 2025 recruiting class. The Badgers have positioned themselves to be more selective in this cycle after taking five linemen in 2024.

If you’re the Wisconsin Badgers, it makes perfect sense to take a few swings at blue-chip prospects like Lange and in-state product Owen Strebig from Catholic Memorial.
