Wisconsin Badgers Wrestling Gets Bump in Team Rankings Ahead of Virginia Duals

The Wisconsin Badgers Wrestling program has renewed InterMat rankings headed into the Virginia Duals this weekend.

InterMat Rankings Released for Wisconsin Badgers Wrestling

No. 4 Eric Barnett at 125 pounds. (up from No. 6)

No. 22 Joseph Zargo at 149 pounds. (down from No. 21)

No. 6 Dean Hamiti at 165 pounds. (no change)

No. 18 Max Maylor at 174 pounds. (up from No. 27)

No. 16 Shane Liegel at 184 pounds. (down from No. 15)

New InterMat Tournament and Dual Rankings Released

The Wisconsin Badgers check in this week ranked No.17 (up from No.19) in tournament rankings and No. 30 (no change) in duals rankings, according to InterMat.

Wisconsin wrestling is headed to Hampton, VA for the Virginia Duals on January 12-13, 2024 at the Hampton Coliseum.  They are locked in to battle the No.21 Oklahoma Sooners on Friday and the Virginia Cavaliers on Saturday.

We wrestle at the 43rd Annual Virginia Duals this Friday and Saturday in Hampton, Va.

Friday, Jan. 12 vs #21 Oklahoma

Saturday, Jan. 13 vs Virginia
