Where Wisconsin Basketball Signees Land In Final 2023 Recruiting Rankings
Unranked Wisconsin Basketball Walk-On Commit – Jack Janicki (Previous Ranking: N/A)
As you can see, there is plenty of movement in these final rankings compared to the others, especially with Winter making a noticeable leap after a stand-out senior season where he won Gatorade Player of the Year in Minnesota.
I’ll never understand how Yalden, who keeps improving despite playing some of the nation’s best talent, continues to move down these rankings. It would be different if he attended a high school and throttled kids well below his talent level.
But that doesn’t dismantle the fact that Greg Gard and the Wisconsin basketball program put together one of the Badgers’ best recruiting classes in years.
From perfect systematic fits like Yalden and Winter to an intriguing defensive-minded combo guard like Blackwell, the 2023 recruiting class could have multiple players work their way onto the court as early as next season.
