Wisconsin Football: Top 2024 RB Target Announces Commitment Details
The Wisconsin football program has had some ups and downs on the recruiting trail as of late. However, UW got back on track by securing a commitment from four-star CB Omillio Agard.
With Agard’s commitment, Wisconsin currently holds 15 commits in the 2024 cycle. Still, there’s some work to be done, particularly at the running back position.
UW is in the running for a pair of big-time tailback targets. One of those targets, four-star RB Darrion Dupree, is set to announce his commitment on July 7th, according to a report by Jon McNamara.

Top Wisconsin Football Target Darrion Dupree Announces Commitment Details
According to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite, Dupree is the No. 366 player in the nation, the No. 32 running back, and the No. 8 player in Illinois.
Dupree has racked up nearly 30 offers. Notable schools to offer the standout from Illinois include Michigan, Notre Dame, Washington, Cincinnati, Missouri, Illinois, and many more.
Washington, Missouri, and Illinois are among the finalists in Dupree’s recruitment alongside Wisconsin. The four-star prospect visited Madison on June 2nd as a part of a massive recruiting weekend. UW moved the needle on that visit, as multiple recruiting services predictions submitted predictions for the Badgers to land the Illinois native.
Dupree has been Wisconsin’s No. 1 running back target from the jump. Landing his services would be a massive boost to UW’s running back room, which is expected to be down two tailbacks after the 2023 season.
All signs point to Wisconsin landing Dupree on July 7th. Keep an eye on this one, Badger fans.
