Wisconsin Football Star CB Ricardo Hallman Unveils Future Plans
The Badgers star cornerback will be returning for a fourth season in Madison.
Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin Badgers football program will have its star cornerback in the fold for at least one more season.
On Wednesday, Badgers starting cornerback Ricardo Hallman revealed on social media his intention to return to the program. This decision comes on the heels of a breakout campaign where he led the nation in interceptions, firmly placing him on the NFL’s radar.

While unlikely, Hallman still has two years of eligibility with the Wisconsin football team should he choose to use them.
Wisconsin Football CB Ricardo Hallman Returning in 2024
Originally a three-star prospect in the 2021 recruiting class out of TRU Prep Academy in Miami, Florida, Ricardo Hallman has since established himself as the Wisconsin Badgers unquestioned shutdown cornerback.
More recently, the 5-foot-10 defensive back earned third-team All-Big Ten honors and was named a third-team All-American by the Associated Press.
Hallman finished the 2023 season with 34 tackles, 12 pass deflections, an NCAA-leading seven interceptions, and 3.5 TFLs in 13 games.

Pro Football Focus gave Hallman an 83.8 overall grade this past season and an 84.4 grade in coverage, which is considered high quality to borderline elite by their grading metric.
He returns to a Wisconsin football cornerback room that also brings back fellow starter Nyzier Fouqurean, transfer portal addition RJ Delancy, depth pieces such as Michael Mack and Jonas Duclona, plus a handful of young and promising defensive backs.
