WThe Wisconsin basketball team has a big test early in the season, taking on No. 9 Tennessee at the Kohl Center tonight. But the Vols won’t be the only ones the Wisconsin Badgers are hosting. The Badgers will have EJ Walker, one of their top recruiting targets, on an unofficial visit as they take on the Vols.

According to the 247Sports Composite, Walker is a 4-star prospect in the 2025 recruiting class. He is the 25-ranked player at his position and 126th overall prospect in the country.

Walker has over 20 Division 1 scholarship offers from big programs such as Wisconsin, Ohio State, Purdue, Texas A&M, Xavier, Butler, and more.

The Badgers offered Walker in May of 2023.

Wisconsin Basketball Looks to Add EJ Walker to their 2025 Recruiting Class

Currently, the 2025 recruiting class for the Wisconsin basketball team is ranked 7th (out of nine teams) and consists of one commitment: guard Zach Kinziger out of DePere, Wisconsin.

Adding Walker to the class would give the class a nice little bump and maybe some momentum to add more juice to the class.

Other Wisconsin basketball recruiting targets in the 2025 class include Davion Hannah, Xzavion Mitchell, and LaTrevion Fenderson at the small forward position.

I wouldn’t expect a commitment from Walker, but the sold-out Kohl Center and a Badger win tonight could go a long way for selling Walker on the Wisconsin basketball program.
