The Wisconsin Badgers are officially…in the game, pun intended.

After a decade-long absence, when you fire up the new EA Sports college football game for the first time, you’ll find comfort in knowing that the Wisconsin Badgers will, in fact, be… in the game.

Although it was expected, the Wisconsin Badgers football team dropped a graphic on social media confirming their involvement.

EA Sports will use the name, image, and likeness of all college athletes who sign off, allowing it to be used. In return, they’ll receive $600 and a copy of EA Sports College Football 25 on a system of their choosing.

Reporting suggests EA will send this contract offer to all 85 Wisconsin Badgers players on scholarship and also to the other FBS programs.

Wisconsin Badgers Fans Can Finally Play Collge Football Again

Nothing was better than playing college football and building a dynasty with your favorite team—and it was criminal that we’ve been robbed of a decade’s worth of memories.

However, this summer, all will be right in the world, and I can take the Wisconsin Badgers to the promised land under head coach Luke Fickell.

More than anything, I’m excited to see how the gameplay integrates the NIL world and its role in recruiting and transfer portal navigation, among a handful of other situations that didn’t exist the last time around.

Anyone who played dynasty mode with me back in the day knows I’m going to build my team around a nasty defense and run the ball down your throat…the Wisconsin way, if you will. I look forward to pairing that with Phil Longo’s spread offense and finding the perfect balance to lead the Badgers to the college football playoffs.
