The Wisconsin Badgers football program has several players attending the NFL Combine. Braelon Allen, Tanor Bortolini, Maema Njongmeta, and even long-snapper Peter Bowden made their way down to Indianapolis to show their talents in front of some NFL scouts.

Another former Badger is in attendance, and he turned some heads with his performance.

Former UW running back Isaac Guerendo, who transferred to Louisville after the 2023 season, put up one of the best RB performances at the Combine, logging an RAS Score of 9.99.

On Saturday, the former Badger shined in a big way. Guerendo logged a 40-yard dash time of 4.33, a vertical jump of 41.5 inches, and a broad jump of 10 feet, 9 inches. His 40-yard dash and vertical were the highest among all running backs at the Combine, and his broad jump was second among all tailbacks.

With his 9.99 Relative Athletic Score, Guerendo now holds the second-highest running back Combine score since 1987.

During his five seasons with the Wisconsin Badgers football program, Guerendo recorded totals of 582 yards and six touchdowns on 99 carries. He also tacked on 124 yards and a touchdown on 20 receptions as a Badger.

Guerendo transferred to Louisville for his final season of eligibility for an expanded role. In 2023, the former Badger logged 810 yards and 11 touchdowns on 132 carries, as well as 22 receptions of 134 yards, all of which were career highs. He was also the Cardinals’ leading kick returner, recording 211 return yards on 11 attempts.

After a spectacular performance at the Combine, Guerendo will surely get some more looks from some NFL scouts. He’s currently rated as the No. 11 running back in the draft class, per NFL Draft Buzz, but he may see a jump after a great performance in Indianapolis.
