Wisconsin Football Offers 2025 Defensive End From Ohio

The Wisconsin Badgers football coaching staff has been active on the recruiting trail this past week, with several new offers getting shelled out. 

On Tuesday, defensive line coach Greg Scruggs extended a new offer, targeting 2025 three-star recruit Gordy Sulfsted from Cincinnati, Ohio.

The 247Sports recruiting rankings list Sulfsted as the No. 38 defensive lineman in the country and the No. 16 player in Ohio. 

The 6-foot-5, 240-pound recruit holds scholarship offers from Boston College, Illinois, Cincinnati, Indiana, Iowa, Duke, Miami, Minnesota, Stanford, Vandy, and several others. 

Wisconsin Football Offers 3-Star DL Recruit Gordy Sulfsted

Wisconsin football defensive line coach Greg Scruggs put together an impressive 2024 recruiting class in his first cycle with the Badgers. He landed two four-star prospects in Ernest Willor Jr. and Dillan Johnson.

UW also landed three-star defensive end Hank Weber, who took a noticeable step forward in his development from his junior season to the product he put on film as a senior.

How Scruggs follows that up in this next class will be a storyline worth monitoring, considering how far the Badgers have to go in order to rebuild that room.

Gordy Sulfsted is now the 16th known defensive lineman to pick up a scholarship offer from the Wisconsin football program in the 2025 cycle.
