The Wisconsin football program is still in contention for a big offensive line target in the 2025 recruiting class.

Four-star interior lineman Michael Carroll has garnered 25 offers thus far, but he trimmed his list to 12 on Monday and included the Badgers alongside Georgia, Alabama, Michigan, Penn State, Texas, Clemson, UCLA, Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Rutgers.

According to the composite rankings, Carroll is the No. 238 player in the country, the No. 14 interior offensive lineman, and the No. 8 prospect in Pennsylvania.

Former Wisconsin football offensive line coach Jack Bicknell Jr. was Carroll’s main point of contact after the Badgers extended an offer in August of 2023, but when he was reassigned, AJ Blazek started to get involved by visiting Carroll at his high school shortly after he was hired on.

Carroll made an in-season stop to Wisconsin last season during the primetime matchup against Ohio State, but he has yet to return to campus.

The four-star prospect took home First-Team All-State honors after a strong junior season where he recorded 37 pancake blocks, per MaxPreps. He also took snaps at defensive end, logging ten tackles, 1.0 TFls, and a sack.

After taking five offensive linemen in the 2024 recruiting cycle, the Badgers have the opportunity to be a bit more picky on which targets to pursue heavily. Wisconsin football has fallen short on a few offensive line recruiting battles thus far, but they currently hold a commitment from in-state standout Michael Roeske in the 2025 class.
