Former Wisconsin football star running back Jonathan Taylor has reached an impressive milestone in his NFL career, signing a significant three-year contract extension with the Indianapolis Colts.

Former Wisconsin Football Star Jonathan Taylor Got PAID
This landmark agreement is a major win for the former Wisconsin football superstar and is also a significant moment for other NFL running backs.
Jonathan Taylor becomes the first running back in nearly 800 days to secure a long-term deal worth $10 million or more annually since Nick Chubb accomplished the feat in 2021.
Taylor’s contract sets a new standard for compensation at his position, which has been devalued more and more with each passing season.
Some tension and uncertainty marked the negotiation process leading up to this agreement. However, after months of discussions and efforts from all sides involved, including Colts owner Jim Irsay, General Manager Chris Ballard, and Taylor’s representatives, a mutually beneficial situation came to fruition.
This extension ensures that Taylor, one of the most talented Wisconsin football players in the program’s history, will continue to be a core piece for the Colts moving forward.
Jonathan Taylor & journey from the University of Wisconsin to becoming one of the NFL’s highest-paid running backs is a testament to his incredible talent and work ethic.
