Wisconsin Football Lands Commitment From 2025 Safety Cody Haddad
The Badgers have added a safety to the 2025 recruiting class.
On Wednesday night, Luke Fickell and the University of Wisconsin football program added their fifth player to the Badgers 2025 recruiting class.
High three-star safety Cody Haddad from St. Ignatius High School announced on social media that he was committing to the Wisconsin Badgers over reported offers from Duke, Boston College, Nebraska, Cincinnati, Kansas, Liberty, Nebraska, Kent State, and Purdue.
“I would like to thank my family, friends, and coaches for their continued support during this recruiting process,” Haddad wrote. “Mainly, I would like to thank God for giving me the ability to pursue my dreams.
“I am very proud to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at the University of Wisconsin.”

Wisconsin Football Lands 2025 Safety Cody Haddad
Following a junior day visit with the Wisconsin football program, 2025 safety Cody Haddad saw enough to put a bow on his recruitment.
Badgers’ co-defensive coordinator and safety coach Colin Hitschler was Haddad’s primary recruiter throughout this process.
The 6-foot-1, 175-pound safety missed the bulk of his junior season with a broken arm but returned for the final four games of the year and totaled 42 tackles, forced three fumbles, and intercepted four passes.
According to the 247Sports recruiting rankings, Haddad is the No. 32 athlete in the 2025 class and the No. 15 ranked player in Ohio.
He joins a growing list of Wisconsin football commits in the 25 cycle that includes QB Landyn Locke, DB Remington Moss, OT Michael Roeske, and LB Cooper Catalano.
